Damiana is a popular herb for its stimulating properties. It helps balance the hormones in both men and women, and has been recommended for use in increasing the sperm count in men, while strengthening the egg in women. It is reported to increase sexual prowess in those who suffer from sexual weakness. It is the safest of all plants reputed to restore natural sexual capacity and function. Kava Kava is beneficial for lowering inhibitions. It is used in small amounts, as it is highly sedative. This tea is not recommended for women who are pregnant or nursing. Special Instructions for brewing: This tea comes in two parts. The Damiana leaves arrive in a tin with the kava kava separately in a plastic bag. Brew the Damiana leaves for 15 minutes for a strong brew (1/2 tea ball per cup). After brewing, chill. Once chilled, add 1/8 teaspoon of kava kava root powder to the cup. Stir continuously (it will not dissolve) and drink immediately. NOTE: The properties of kava kava are destroyed with heat.

All teas come in a 4 oz. tin. For this tea the dry weight of the tea is approximately .5 oz. with a serving range of 5 to 7 cups of tea. The recomended serving for kava kava root powder is 1/8 teaspoon per cup of tea. Seven servings of kava kava root powder are included.
